A tentative agreement (TA) was reached with the employer which extends the current 2-year contract to June 30, 2025. Your Unit 13 negotiations team is recommending that you vote YES to approve this tentative agreement.

Informational Presentation on the TA and Ratification Process

Electronic Ratification Voting Starts Tuesday, April 19 at 9:00 a.m. and continues until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 22.

There will be limited walk-in electronic voting at all HGEA Division Offices from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19 through Friday, April 22, 2022. Negotiating team members and staff will be available to answer questions, but there will be no formal presentation.

Dear Unit 8 members,

Your Unit 8 negotiating team has reached a tentative agreement (TA) with the employer which extends the current 2-year contract to June 30, 2025.

Summary of the Tentative Agreement – Unit 8

Effective July 1, 2021

1.00% lump sum payment based on June 30, 2021 annual base pay for all APT employees who were employed in Unit 8 on June 30, 2021 and continue to be employed as of July 1, 2021.

Effective July 1, 2022

3.72% across-the-board increase for 11-month APT and for 9-month APT employees.

Effective July 1, 2023

5% across-the-board increase for 11-month APT and for 9-month APT employees.

Effective July 1, 2024

5% across-the-board increase for 11-month APT and for 9-month APT employees.

Duration

Current 2-year agreement effective July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2023 is extended for 2 additional years through June 30, 2025 with reopener language specific to the Employer’s EUTF contributions for the plan years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.

Dear Unit 3 members,

Your Unit 3 Negotiating team has reached a tentative agreement (TA) with the employer which extends the current 2-year contract to June 30, 2025.

Summary of Tentative Agreement – Unit 3

Effective July 1, 2021

$1000 one-time lump sum payment for all employees who were employed in Unit 3 on June 30, 2021 and continue to be employed as of July 1, 2021. Employees who are less than full-time will receive a lump sum that is prorated by FTE, e.g., Employee whose FTE is 50% will get $500 ($1000 x .5 = $500).

Effective October 1, 2022

3.72% across-the-board increase. Employees not administratively assigned to the salary schedule (SRNA, exempt included employees) receive a 3.72% pay increase.

Effective July 1, 2023

5% across-the-board increase. Employees not administratively assigned to the salary schedule (SRNA, exempt included employees) receive a 5% pay increase.

Effective July 1, 2024

5% across-the-board increase. Employees not administratively assigned to the salary schedule (SRNA, exempt included employees) receive a 5% pay increase.

Summary of the Tentative Agreement – Unit 14

Effective July 1, 2021

$1,000 lump sum payment for employees who were employed in BU14 on Step L as of June 30, 2021 and July 1, 2021.

Effective July 1, 2022

Employees eligible for step movements during the period from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 shall receive their step movement (4%) effective July 1, 2022.
Employees eligible for step movements during the period from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 shall receive their step movement (4%) on their step movement date.
3.2% increase to the salary schedule. Employees not administratively assigned to the salary schedule will receive a 3.2% pay increase.

Effective July 1, 2023

Employees eligible for step movements during the period from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 shall receive their step movement (4%) on their step movement date.
Employees on Step A will move to Step B; Step A will be deleted.
3.44% increase to the salary schedule. Employees not administratively assigned to the salary schedule will receive a 3.44% pay increase.

Effective July 1, 2024

Employees eligible for step movements during the period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 shall receive their step movement (4%) on their step movement date.
2.775% increase to the salary schedule. Employees not administratively assigned to the salary schedule will receive a 2.775% pay increase.

Duration

Current 2-year agreement effective July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2023 is extended for 2 additional years through June 30, 2025 with reopener language specific to the Employer’s EUTF contributions for the plan years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.

The Unit 13 Negotiating Team is recommending a YES vote to approve this tentative agreement. The team is endorsing this agreement because they feel this is the best offer the employer will agree to at this time. Rejecting the offer to pursue arbitration would delay potential raises with no guarantee that a better package could be achieved.
